UTI Chrom Agar

CATALOGUE NUMBER: M1100

UTI Chromogenic Agar is a selective and differential medium specifically designed for the isolation, enumeration, and direct identification of urinary tract infection (UTI) pathogens from clinical urine samples.

The medium contains chromogenic substrates that react with specific bacterial enzymes, resulting in the formation of distinct colored colonies. This allows rapid and easy differentiation of common uropathogens such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterococcus, Proteus, and other Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.
